Sofia Ramos

Sofia Ramos is an accomplished finance academic and opinion columnist with extensive experience in higher education and editorial roles. Currently serving as an Opinion Columnist for CEOWORLD magazine since June 2019, Sofia previously held significant positions at ESSEC Business School, including Academic Director of the Global MBA and Associate Professor of Finance from 2015 to 2022. Sofia also contributed as an Associate Professor of Finance at NEOMA Business School and directed the Master in Finance program at ISCTE-IUL from 2007 to 2013. Sofia earned a PhD in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute at the University of Lausanne and has a foundational education from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
