George Xenides

George Xenides has extensive work experience in the field of internal auditing. George has held various positions in reputable organizations throughout their career.

In their most recent role as the Head of Internal Audit at Cepal Hellas Financial Services S.A., George is responsible for overseeing internal audit activities within the company.

Prior to joining Cepal Hellas Financial Services S.A., they served as the Deputy Group Internal Audit Director at TITAN Cement Group. In this role, George led a team of 15 staff members and was responsible for providing end-to-end internal audit services, including risk assessment, planning, execution of audits, and preparation of reports.

Before their time at TITAN Cement Group, George worked as the Internal Audit Director at Growthfund – The National Fund of Greece. In this position, they led the internal audit function of the Greek sovereign wealth fund and managed a diverse portfolio of State-Owned Enterprises.

George's earlier experience includes a long tenure at PwC Greece, where they served as Senior Manager, Risk Assurance. During their time at PwC, they led the Internal Audit Services team and was responsible for providing internal audit, internal controls, governance, risk, and compliance services.

Overall, George Xenides has a strong background in internal auditing and has played a key role in managing and leading internal audit functions in various organizations.

George Xenides completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Internal Auditing & Management from Bayes Business School during the academic year 2002-2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Furthermore, in May 2007, George obtained certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
