Theodore Athanasopoulos

Theodore Athanasopoulos serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cepal Hellas Financial Services S.A. since June 2020 and holds the position of Non-Executive Board Member. Additionally, since October 2023, Theodore serves as Vice Chairman of Resolute Cepal Greece and has been the Chairman of ΕΕΔΑΔΠ since January 2022. Theodore previously held the role of Vice Chairman and Board Member at Alpha Leasing from August 2011 until June 2024 and was a Board Member at ERMIS Ltd from February 2017 to November 2020, involved in managing non-performing exposures in Cyprus. Prior experience includes significant roles at Alpha Bank from August 2000 to November 2020, where Theodore was the Executive General Manager for Non-Performing Loans in the Wholesale Division, alongside various managerial and analytical positions. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Management obtained from the Department of Banking and Financial Management, completed in 2002, and a Bachelor's degree from the same department, completed in 2000.
