Arun Manickam

Arun Manickam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of biochip technology and integrated circuit design. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Biochip IC Design & System Integration at Cepheid since February 2022, Arun previously co-founded InSilixa, where the focus was on developing high-performance CMOS biochips for various applications, including microarray technology, qPCR, and DNA sequencing. Additionally, Arun held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, working under Prof. Arjang Hassibi, and completed various internships at renowned organizations including Robert Bosch Research and Technology Center, Silicon Laboratories, and Qualcomm. Arun holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University.
