Christopher Lim

Christopher Lim is a Senior Quality Operations Engineer at Cepheid, a position held since September 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Research Engineer at Visby Medical, where Christopher managed projects focused on material characterization and formulation development for COVID-19 detection devices. As a Materials Engineer at Juul Labs, independent project management in next-generation product development and material behavior studies was performed. Previously, at Specific Diagnostics, contributions were made to the development of colorimetric chemical sensors for large-scale manufacturing. An early career as an Analytical Chemistry Co-op at Genentech involved routine chemical analyses, and roles at Applied Physics Systems and UC Irvine enhanced engineering and research skills. Christopher holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, both from UC Irvine.
