Miriam Nilsson

Miriam Nilsson serves as the VP of Sales Operations and Effectiveness EMEA at Cepheid since March 2021, previously holding positions such as Sr. Director Commercial Excellence and Director of Virtual Sales, EMEA. Prior to joining Cepheid, Nilsson worked at Abbott from April 2015 to February 2021, where roles included Country Manager for the Nordics and Regional Country Manager for Benelux and the Nordics. Experience at Abbott Vascular spanned from September 2006 to February 2015, where Nilsson was Area Sales Manager for the Coronary & Absorb sectors in the Nordics and held several management positions. Early career roles included Regional Marketing Manager for Abbott Vascular Devices and Clinical Specialist at JOMED. Nilsson earned a Master of Science in International Business Administration from Lund University and attended the University of Münster.
