Sahani Wijesinghe

Sahani Wijesinghe is a Senior Engineer at Cepheid since October 2020, following a brief role as an R&D Intern in Radiation Oncology at Rhode Island Hospital. Previous experience includes serving as a Supplier Development Engineer at Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., and a Product Development Intern at the Medical Device Center, where Sahani designed a medical device for measuring sensation loss. Additional roles include Research Assistant at the Aresty Research Center and Research Intern at GENETECH Molecular Diagnostics, where DNA typing and amplifications were performed. Sahani holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Brown University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Rutgers University. Furthermore, Sahani has completed certifications in Disruptive Strategy and the CORe program from Harvard Business School Online.
