Zhaolan Ding

Zhaolan Ding is a Senior Scientist I in Assay Development at Cepheid since June 2021, focusing on the design and optimization of molecular assays for diagnosing infectious diseases. Previously, Zhaolan served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Texas A&M University from September 2015 to May 2021, where research involved studying protein phosphatase regulation and employing various molecular biology techniques. Zhaolan also worked as a Teaching Assistant and laboratory instructor during graduate studies, mentoring undergraduate students in biology. Early experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at China Agricultural University, generating mutations in fungi, and as an Undergraduate Research Fellow, conducting a project on glycoproteins in spiders. Zhaolan holds a PhD in Biology from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from China Agricultural University, along with a Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
