Zohar Padilla

Zohar Padilla has extensive experience in engineering and supplier development, currently serving as a Senior Supplier Development/VAVE Engineer at Cepheid since September 2017. In this role, Zohar has successfully combined responsibilities as a Development/VAVE Engineer, Supplier Development Engineer, and Project Engineer to foster innovation and enhance operational efficiency. Notable contributions include leading research and development initiatives, collaborating with internal and external R&D teams, and managing risk assessments for product transitions. Previously, Zohar held the position of Junior Supplier Development Engineer at Cepheid, focusing on part sourcing during the COVID-19 pandemic and implementing process improvements with suppliers. Zohar’s educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
