Deborah Marmot serves as Legal Counsel for Access and Private Partnerships at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) since July 2022. Prior to this role, Deborah was a lawyer at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), providing legal advice to the Vaccines Taskforce from September 2019 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes an associate position at Clifford Chance focused on derivatives and financial regulation and a trainee solicitor role with Liberty, as well as multiple secondments at Clifford Chance in finance, financial restructuring, corporate law, and capital markets. Deborah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Politics, Psychology, and Sociology from the University of Cambridge, a Graduate Diploma in Law from City, University of London, and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University. Deborah’s foundational education was completed at North London Collegiate School.
