Deepan Baskaran is a mechanical design engineer with significant experience in product design and development. Currently serving as a Project Engineer in Mechanical Design at CE+T Power since December 2014, Deepan has specialized in designing sheet metals and plastic enclosures for modular inverters, UPS systems, and batteries, as well as outdoor-rated products like Powerwall and MetroGrid. Prior roles include Product Designer at RAMYAA ELECTRO GEAR PRIVATE LIMITED, where Deepan designed electrical power panels for railway coaches and developed plastic light fittings, and at Butterfly, where responsibilities included creating assembly components for kitchen appliances. Deepan began a career as a Design Engineer at Sun Pressing Pvt Ltd, focusing on automotive sheet metal applications. Deepan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from SACS MAVMM Engineering College, Madurai.
