Waleed Abu-Nafiseh

Waleed Abu-Nafiseh started their professional career as a Trainee at Codytek in 2016. Waleed then worked as a Social Media Monitor at Reach from September 2016 to January 2017. In 2018, they joined DAAD East Jerusalem as an Event Organization Assistant, intern, from April to May. At AXSOS AG, they worked as a Junior IT Consultant from March 2018 to November 2019, and later transitioned to a Mobile Developer role from November 2019 to November 2021. From November 2021 to March 2022, Waleed worked as a Software Engineer at Freightos. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer at CEPRES, starting from March 2022.

Waleed Abu-Nafiseh has a diverse education history. Waleed completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in German as a Foreign Language at Birzeit University from 2016 to 2021. During their undergraduate studies, they also attended a summer course at the University of Mannheim in 2018, focusing on Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF) B1.2 - German as a foreign language.

Prior to their undergraduate studies, Waleed attended the Eastern Mediterranean International School and pursued the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) from 2014 to 2016.

Looking ahead, Waleed has plans to pursue a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering at Universität Passau from 2022 to 2024. Additionally, they are currently studying German language at Carl Duisberg Centren.

In terms of additional certifications, Waleed obtained several certifications through LinkedIn. These include Android App Development: Data Persistence Libraries, Flutter: Part 03 Flutter Widgets, Flutter: Part 05 Flutter and Dart Packages, Learning Google Firebase for Flutter, Learning React Native, Building RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express, Learning MongoDB, Learning Node.js, Java: Testing with JUnit, Learning PrimeFaces, Marketing on Facebook, SQL Essential Training (2018), Java EE: JavaServer Faces JSF, and Source Code Control in .NET with Git Using SourceTree. Waleed also earned the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2018. Lastly, Waleed received the THIMUN Qatar 2016 certification from THIMUN Qatar.
