Ishita Shah

Visiting Faculty Member at CEPT University

Ishita Shah is an independent curator and archivist with extensive experience in documenting and interpreting architectural narratives, particularly focusing on gender's relationship with the built environment in India. Since July 2019, Ishita has been affiliated with Curating for Culture, leading projects such as "Revisiting India’s Architectural History" and mentoring through the "Constructing Personal Archives 2020" program. Currently serving as a consulting archivist and curator for the Pattani Archives, Ishita has also held various roles at CEPT University as a visiting faculty member, contributing to academic discourse through teaching and thesis guidance. Previous positions include consulting for Venkataramanan Associates, mentoring at Britto Arts Trust, and curatorial roles at Biome Environmental Solutions Pvt and the National Center for Biological Sciences. Ishita holds an MA in Architectural History from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from CEPT University.
