Chusheng Qiu

Chusheng Qiu has an extensive work experience starting as a Software Engineer Intern at Hitachi (China) Research & Development Corporation in 2012. In 2012, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Weibo Corporation, where they improved the PHP MVC framework and developed back end components for a new event platform. In 2016, they became a Senior Software Engineer at YourMechanic. Currently, Chusheng Qiu is employed at Cepton as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have held various leadership roles, including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer since 2017. At Cepton, they have worked on software and firmware development for LiDAR products and played a key role in optimizing the ASIC chip architecture for high data rate and accuracy.

Chusheng Qiu completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering with a GPA of 3.4 from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2012. Later, in 2015, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas with a GPA of 3.88.
