Kevin vander Putten

Kevin Vander Putten has had a diverse career in engineering and product development. Kevin started as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Siemens VDO before moving on to roles such as Electrical Systems Engineer at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation and various engineering positions at General Motors, where they gained experience in software engineering, calibration engineering, and design release engineering. Kevin currently holds the position of Director of Product and Business Development at Cepton, where they oversee strategic development initiatives in the company.

Kevin Vander Putten holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from Oakland University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Kevin then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, completing their studies in 2015. Kevin furthered their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University Bloomington in 2020. Additionally, they hold a certification in Design for Six Sigma Black Belt from General Motors.
