Ahmed Shabrawy has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ahmed started their career in 1994 as a Software Developer at MetalSoft. After that, they worked as a Project Manager at EgyptNetwork from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, Ahmed co-founded EgyptNetwork and served as its CEO until 2015.
From 2010 to 2016, they also held the position of Chairman at Delta Technopreneurs Association. In 2012, Ahmed became the CEO of Vytru, an ISV focused on enhancing Microsoft Lync user's experience. Ahmed stayed with Vytru until 2016.
In 2015, Ahmed joined Cequens as the CTO, and in 2020, they became a Co-Founder of Smarty-Fi Electronics. Their time at Smarty-Fi Electronics ended in May 2022. Overall, Ahmed has demonstrated their leadership and expertise in various technology-related roles throughout their career.
Ahmed Shabrawy obtained a B.Sc. degree in Statistics and Computing Science from Mansoura University between 1995 and 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering at Nile University (NU) from 2010 to 2013.
