Rebecca Cook is an experienced urban planner currently working with CERA Solutions, where involvement includes federal grant writing and urban planning for the nation's second-largest transit system. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as the Manager of Outreach and Public Engagement at the Center for Neighborhood Technology, focusing on urban flooding mitigation strategies. With a foundation in planning from Cook County Government, where key contributions included overseeing capital projects and ensuring regulatory compliance, and previous roles at the Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation and other municipalities, Rebecca has developed a strong skill set in community engagement, project management, and GIS mapping. Rebecca holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago.
