Andre Goig

Mr. André Goig is chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Ceradis B.V. as of May 18, 2015. Having started his professional career as a Financial Analyst, André Goig has held numerous European financial and general management positions for companies such as Price Waterhouse, Dana Corporation and Pennwalt Corporation. Joining Sandoz in 1988 as Managing Director of Sandoz Agro in France, André subsequently assumed several leadership positions for Syngenta’s legacy companies, including Corporate Head of Strategic Products & Controlling (Crop Protection) and Head of Seeds EAME. In 2004, he was appointed to the position of Global Head of Vegetables while keeping his Seeds EAME regional role. Following Syngenta’s reorganisation early 2011, he was appointed Regional Director EAME for Syngenta Crop Protection and Seeds activities.André obtained a degree in Economics from ISG Business School in Paris before attending various advanced Executive Education programs at Harvard University and Northwestern University. He is a Board member of ESA (European Seeds Association) and of EuropaBio (biotech industry at the EU level), as well as the Chairman of its Agri-Food council.
