Avi Aliyu

Avi Aliyu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they work as an Assistant Controller at Cerapedics, Inc. Since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Manager Accounting at Zayo Group from June 2018 to May 2021, where they also held the position of Senior Accountant from June 2014 to May 2018. Before joining Zayo Group, Avi worked as an Earned Income Analyst at Vistar, A PFG Company from June 2013 to July 2014. Avi started their career as an Audit Associate at KPMG US, where they worked from 2010 to 2012, assisting with financial statement variance analysis, internal controls evaluation, and supporting schedule preparation for smaller companies. Avi also gained valuable experience as an Intern at Encana in 2009, where they coordinated the procurement process and achieved significant cost savings. In 2008, they worked as a Manager in Training Intern at KOHL'S Department Store, where they demonstrated strong managerial and organizational skills.

Avi Aliyu, CPA, MBA pursued their education starting from 2006 to 2010 at Colorado State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting. Later, they went on to further enhance their educational qualifications and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, from the period of 2012 to 2014.
