Juan Monroy

Juan Monroy has over 10 years of work experience in the design and production industry. In 2011, they worked as an Account Executive and Designer for New World Monkeys. Juan then founded San Pedro Cactus in 2012 and worked as a Product Designer. In 2013, they founded The Swede and worked as a Design Strategist. In 2017, they became a professor at the Multicultural Program of Tec De Monterrey Highschool. In 2018, they co-founded Bacon and worked as the Head of Digital for Together. Since 2020, they have been working as a Lead Product Designer for WANDR, where they work closely with the core Production team to ensure high-quality deliverables and top-notch digital products. Juan also provides feedback on the creation of a range of concepts and designs for each project. Since 2022, they have been working as a Lead Product Designer for Cerby.

Juan Monroy received their Industrial Designer degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2006 and 2011, with a field of study in Design and Innovation. In 2010, they attended Aalborg University for a specialization in Art and Technology. Additionally, Juan has obtained certifications in Innovation Management from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2016, an EF SET English Certificate 75/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test, and a Make Design Systems People Want to Use certification from awwwards.
