Malinda Khauv

Malinda Khauv, IACCP®, has a solid work history in the field of compliance. Malinda began their career at Altegris as a Compliance Supervisor from May 2014 to July 2017. Malinda then joined Freestone Capital Management in July 2017 as a Senior Associate - Deputy Chief Compliance Officer until January 2020. Malinda continued to excel at Freestone Capital Management, progressing to the role of Director - Deputy Chief Compliance Officer from January 2019 to December 2021. Malinda then moved to IQ-EQ as a Director - Regulatory and Compliance from December 2021 to March 2022. Currently, Malinda is the Managing Director - Chief Compliance Officer at Freestone Capital Management, a position they have held since February 2022. In July 2023, they are set to take on the role of Chief Compliance Officer at Cercano.

Malinda Khauv, IACCP®, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Pre-Law and Ethics from the University of St. Thomas, which they obtained between the years 2007 and 2009. Malinda is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, with an expected completion date in 2025. In addition, Malinda has obtained the certification of Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional® from NRS - National Regulatory Services in 2021.
