Santiago Ibanez Caturla has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they started working as a Radiologist at Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca, where they remained until 2019. In 2019, they joined Hospital Universitario Santa Lucia as a Radiologist. Then, in 2020, Santiago became a Co-Founder of Cercle.
Santiago Ibanez Caturla completed a Licenciatura degree in Medicine from Universidad de Murcia from 2008 to 2014. In 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Additionally, Santiago has obtained several certifications from Coursera, including AI for Medical Prognosis and AI for Medical Diagnosis in April 2020. Santiago also completed a Programa Especializado in Deep Learning in February 2019, along with certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks, Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Machine Learning, all obtained between November and December 2018.
