Martin Bown is an experienced finance professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and Managing Director of My Management Accountant since 2009, where strategic financial guidance is provided to SMEs. In addition, Martin has been the Managing Director of My Credit Control since 2014, focusing on alleviating cash flow pressures for businesses. Martin contributes to the charitable sector as an Ambassador for Cerebra, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with brain-related conditions, and previously served as a Trustee for Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire and as Honorary Treasurer for Paces Sheffield. Martin's early career includes roles as Finance Manager at NHS Shared Business Services and Steria UK Ltd, and Finance Director at Bown Consultancy Services. Martin holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Liverpool John Moores University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
