Marcus Ellison has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marcus is currently the Head of Partnerships at Cerebral Valley, a community for AI founders and builders in San Francisco. Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder of Breadcrumb.ai and a Chief Technology and Operations at TrueChoice Solutions, Inc., a global leader in preference analytics for zero-party data.

Before that, Marcus founded and served as the CEO of Venturemark, an Innovation studio in Vietnam, and HackerFleet, which was acquired by a client. Marcus also co-founded CoderSchool, where they helped recruit and teach engineers and organized community events and programs.

Marcus worked as a Consultant at CodePath, where they facilitated relationships between Walmart CTO and VPs of engineering. Marcus began their career as a freelance web developer, designer, and marketer, working with small businesses and startups. Additionally, they were the Founder of Wurk Happy, a payments and agreements software for freelancers.

Earlier in their career, Marcus worked in the real estate industry as a Principal at Saulter & Ellison Real Estate, where they syndicated commercial real estate opportunities and successfully raised funds for a $40 million real estate development project.

Throughout their career, Marcus has demonstrated a strong track record of entrepreneurship, leadership, and building successful teams.

Marcus Ellison obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary studies from New York University between 2003 and 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Innovation at New York University from 2008 to 2009. In 2015, Marcus attended CodePath to further enhance their skills in computer programming and mobile applications, specifically in Swift IOS.
