Ozan Erdem

Ozan Erdem is a Principal Engineer and Member of the Technical Staff at Cerebras Systems, a position held since March 2020. Previously, Ozan served as an FPGA Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from November 2016 to March 2020 and contributed as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2010 to August 2016. Ozan's academic involvement also includes a role as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto in the fall of 2021, teaching CSC384: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence/Knowledge Representation from the University of Toronto (2012-2017), a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the same institution (2010-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University (2006-2010). Additionally, Ozan gained early experience as an intern at the Vienna University of Technology, Sabanci University, and the University of Calabria in 2009.
