Tanmay Patil

Tanmay Patil is a Software Engineering Manager in Embedded Systems at Cerebras Systems since January 2019, previously serving as a Member of the Technical Staff. Prior to this, Tanmay worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a Data Structures and Algorithms course at Carnegie Mellon University, where responsibilities included designing course structure and grading assignments in C, Java, and Python. As a Graduate Research Assistant, research focused on V2X vehicular networks for autonomous cars. Earlier experience includes roles at Emerson Network Power, where Tanmay served as Assistant Manager in R&D, developing embedded system solutions for Industrial UPS systems, and as a Graduate Engineering Trainee, which involved automation of UPS testing. Additional internships included work on Hybrid Electric Vehicle systems at S V National Institute of Technology and manufacturing insights at Alstom Power. Tanmay holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, specializing in Embedded Software from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Surat.
