Nageela Yusuf

Nageela Yusuf has a diverse work experience with roles in various companies. Nageela began their career as a Data Manager at the Corporation of London in 2002. In 2004, they worked as a Digital Media Consultant, Website Developer, and Video Producer at alt-consultants. From 2006 to 2007, they served as an Associate Fellow at the Commonwealth Policy Studies Unit, where they contributed to several publications. Nageela then joined Network Rail as a Market Research Executive from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, Nageela worked as a Data and Technology Consultant at BASAS.

From 2012 to 2014, they held the role of Head of Product at CEREBRIAM TECHNOLOGY LTD, where they collaborated with the lead product engineer and developed prototypes to test the company's software applications. At the University of West London, they worked as a Finance and Data Executive from 2013 to 2015, providing records management, forecast assistance, and budget reviews. Nageela also played a role in ensuring no overspend in both financial years and assisted in the identification and collation of strategies and plans for the UK Quality Code for Higher Education.

In 2016, Nageela became a Treasurer and Trustee at the British Association for South Asian Studies, a role they held until 2019. In 2018, they joined Cerebriam Studio as CEO, Head of Product, and Content Creator. Their responsibilities included deploying applications, overseeing QA and testing, implementing CI/CD pipeline, and securing paid live trial clients for a new product. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of CEO, Head of Product, and Engineering Manager, and in 2022, they took on the role of CEO, Head of Product, and DevOps. Currently, they are still in these positions at Cerebriam Studio.

More recently, in 2021, Nageela became a Guest Lecturer in Product Design at King's College London.

Nageela Yusuf's education history includes a BA in Archaeology from UCL, which was obtained from 1999 to 2002. In 2003 and 2004, they pursued an MA in International Politics at King's College London. Prior to that, they completed their A levels in Photography, Media Studies, and English at Ealing Tertiary College from 1997 to 1999. In 2015, Nageela received a Cert BA in Business Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Nageela also pursued further studies in Computer Science for Business Professionals at edX : HarvardX in 2017 and completed a course on Fundamentals of Digital Image and Video Processing at Coursera : Northwestern University in 2018. Nageela's most recent educational endeavor involved attending the TechKnow iOS Bootcamp in 2019, where they received a degree in iOS Bootcamp and focused on application development in Swift.
