Alex Niittymaki

Alex Niittymaki has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Electrician for companies like Neste and YIT. Alex then transitioned to the Finnish Defence Forces, where they served as a Marine Engineer from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Alex joined the start-up company NIGHTWAY as a Junior Strategist. Alex was part of the team that won the global Climate Launchpad competition. In 2019, they began working for ADMARES, first as a Thesis Worker and later as a Mechanical Engineer. At ADMARES, they developed infrastructure solutions and created standardized technical solutions for floating real estate projects. In 2020, Alex co-founded Cerecaptio, a talent acquisition business partner for high growth companies. As a Co-Founder, they are dedicated to helping companies scale by offering recruitment solutions and connecting talent partners to assist with their growth.

Alex Niittymaki has a diverse educational background. From 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management, Leadership, and ICT at Tampere University. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, Alex completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Alex also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, from 2016 to 2018, they undertook vocational adult education and training in Maritime Engineering at Axxell Novia. Finally, Alex completed a dual qualification-electrician program at Turku Juhannuskukkula vocational school, graduating with a second degree studies and becoming an electrician from 2011 to 2014.
