Amit Jain

Amit Jain is a seasoned professional in software engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Cerence Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Amit held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Freshworks, overseeing the complete life cycle of platform services with a focus on designing products using technologies such as Java, Kubernetes, AWS, and Cassandra, while mentoring a team of over 30 members. Amit's extensive experience includes roles as Vice President at Deutsche Bank, Senior Technical Architect at Pitney Bowes, and Vice President of Technology at Oi Media. Amit also contributed to the development of an Enterprise Pharmacy System at Synerzip and played key roles in various projects at Aftek and C-SAM. Educationally, Amit holds an Advanced Certification in Data Science and AI from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MCA in Computer Science from an engineering college in Jodhpur.
