Timo Koskela

Timo Koskela has a long and varied work experience. Timo began their career in 1999 as a Summer Trainee at CCC. In 2002, they were a Summer Trainee and Researcher at the University of Oulu. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Researcher at the University of Oulu. In 2006, they became a Project Manager and Research Scientist at the University of Oulu, where they worked on various projects until 2011. In 2012, they joined the Center for Internet Excellence at the University of Oulu as a Project Manager and Post-doctoral Researcher. In 2016, they became a Project Manager and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oulu's Center for Ubiquitous Computing. In 2017, they co-founded Cerenion Oy, where they served as Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer, as well as Co-Founder and CEO. In addition, they have been a Co-Founder and Member of the Board at MetaVisual Ltd since 2005, and a System Designer at Viherio Technologies Inc. since 2007.

Timo Koskela has a diverse educational background with a Doctor of Technology (Dr. (Tech.)) degree from the University of Oulu in Information Networks and Services, earned between 2007 and 2011. Timo also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics and Business Administration in Organisation and Management from the University of Oulu, which they earned between 2006 and 2009. In addition, they have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Engineering from the University of Oulu, which they earned between 2000 and 2005. Timo also completed a telecommunications program at the University of Limerick in 2003 and 2004. Timo also completed a program at GETA, although no further details are provided.
