Huanghai Lu

Huanghai Lu is a Senior Scientist at Ceres since October 2021, with previous experience as Physicist Lead/Senior Physicist at Nerudia from February 2019 to October 2021, where leadership in Next Generation Products research was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Huanghai held various roles at Morgan Advanced Materials, including Senior Scientist/Project Lead and Laboratory Manager, overseeing ceramic fibre projects and managing a laboratory with extensive capabilities. Huanghai obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science from The University of Manchester in 2015, focusing on electroceramic membranes, and contributed to significant advancements in material properties during the doctoral research. Additional experience includes a research assistant position at the National Key Laboratory of Metallic Matrix Composite Materials, contributing to solar cell technology, and serving as a part-time basketball coach during university studies.
