Karl Frater

Karl Frater, MEng AMIMechE, is currently participating in a 2-year Graduate Scheme at Ceres, focusing on solid oxide fuel cells and electrolyser technology for clean energy generation and green hydrogen production. Previous roles include co-founding KF Tutoring, where Karl serves as Head Tutor, providing maths tuition to help students regain confidence in their studies post-COVID. Experience extends to tutoring in GCSE and 11+ mathematics at CHOICE HOME TUTORING LIMITED and The Tutor Trust, engaging with over 40 students and emphasizing exam techniques. Karl also gained insights into battery technology through participation in The Faraday Institution's Battery Day and completed a process engineering internship at the University of Birmingham. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
