Kapil Gururangan

Kapil Gururangan is an accomplished academic and medical professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine since September 2024. Additionally, Kapil works as a Clinical and Scientific Advisor for Ceribell, Inc., a role held since July 2018. Previous experiences include completing a fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and holding the position of Chief Resident at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Kapil has also served as an intern physician at Kaiser Permanente and held various roles in research and education at prestigious institutions, including Stanford University and UC Berkeley. Kapil holds an M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
