Nico Duursema is an executive with extensive experience in the creation and operations of international business development, project portfolio and project management across the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, transportation and mining industries. They currently serve as CEO of Cerilon, President of ND Ventures Ltd, and Executive Chairman of XTL-summit, overseeing a portfolio of energy, chemical, resource and service businesses. Their career includes leadership roles across North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and the Far East, and they previously held senior positions such as VP Project Execution at Newmont Mining Corporation and Manager Business Development at Sasol. They earned an MBA (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch University, a B Eng (Industrial) and MBA from the University of Pretoria, and completed the Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Denver.
