Hugo Ponce Bucher

Hugo Ponce Bucher is an experienced professional in the aquaculture industry with significant expertise in center management and operations. Currently serving as Jefe de centro at Cermaq Global since March 2017, Hugo has held similar positions at E. Aquachile and Salmones Cupquelan. Previous roles include Jefe de operaciones and Jefe de centro at E. Aquachile, as well as a focus on environmental management and export product sampling at Fundacion Chile. Hugo also has experience as Jefe de Frigorifico at Pesca Chile S.A. and holds a degree in Marine Biology and Aquaculture Technical from Universidad Austral and IPLA, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
