Simen Langeteig

Simen Langeteig is an experienced professional in the seafood industry, currently serving as Innovation Manager for Landbased at Cermaq Global since May 2022. Prior to this role, Langeteig worked at Lerøy Seafood from July 2019 to May 2022 in various positions including Biologisk ansvarlig and Driftsbiolog at Lerøy Sjøtroll Kjærelva. Langeteig's earlier experience includes a Seafood Trainee position at Lerøy Seafood Group and internships at Bakkafrost and Cermaq Norway AS. Additional roles include part-time work as a Kassemedarbeider at Coop Norge and summer positions at Marine Harvest Group, along with military service as a Patruljefører in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Langeteig holds a Master's degree in Ocean Resources from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture Operations and Management from Nord University. Education includes attendance at Drammen VGS Toppidrett.
