Avikant Srivastava

Avikant Srivastava is a seasoned software engineer currently working at CERN since March 2024, with a focus on software engineering and machine learning. Prior experience includes roles as Software Engineer 2 and Software Engineer at HackerRank from June 2021 to February 2024, and various internships in machine learning and deep learning at companies such as QoreFi, RoadMetrics, and Omdena. Avikant has contributed to projects involving data pipelines, AI models, image segmentation, and traffic detection. Additionally, Avikant served as a lead and core member at GLUG MVIT from August 2019 to September 2022 and has actively participated as a speaker at Google AI/ML Explore events. Avikant holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, earned in 2022.
