Ezra Lesser

Research Fellow – Experimental Physics

Ezra Lesser is a Research Fellow in Experimental Physics at CERN, focused on new measurements of heavy-flavor jet substructure at forward rapidity as part of the LHCb experiment. Previously, Ezra served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, contributing to the ALICE experiment with a thesis centered on jet substructure measurements and quark-gluon plasma studies. Additional experience includes a Head Graduate Student Instructor role for introductory physics courses, various teaching positions, and research assistance in multiple high-energy physics experiments at renowned institutions such as Berkeley Lab and the University of Michigan. Ezra holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an M.A. from the same institution and a B.S. from the University of Michigan, complemented by a diverse background in both physics and technology.
