Fabrizio Niccoli is an R&D Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with a PhD and several years of international experience. They have a strong background in machine design, sealing and fastening technologies, and mechanics of conventional and non-conventional materials, including Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs). Previously, Fabrizio worked as a PhD Candidate at CERN where they developed SMA-based devices for Ultra High Vacuum systems and later served as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager focusing on innovative pipe-coupling solutions. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of 2SMArtEST s.r.l., leading R&D projects on advanced technologies. Fabrizio also has experience as an Assistant Professor at the University of Calabria, specializing in micromechanics and the characterization of engineering materials.
