Francesca Paola Nicoletti

Francesca Paola Nicoletti is a Mechanical Engineer and Technical Coordinator at CERN, involved in the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider project, focusing on integration and installation activities. Previous experience includes a Robotics Engineer role designing a safe mechatronic system for radioactive source handling and a Data Engineer role automating vibration analysis tools. Francesca held various leadership and representation roles at AGEPoly and Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, including Coordinator of student representation and President of the Commission of Student Representatives. In addition to mentoring undergraduate students, Francesca contributed to machine learning projects within the Innovation and Intellectual Property lab and optimized gearbox designs during an internship. Education includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL and a future Master's degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from UNITAR.
