Manuela Cirilli

Manuela Cirilli has extensive experience in knowledge transfer and communication within the field of particle physics and medical applications, primarily at CERN since July 2008. Currently serving as the Head of Knowledge Transfer Comms & Training section and KT Medical Applications advisor, Manuela has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Knowledge Transfer Group Leader and Medical Applications Section Leader. In addition to coordinating technical projects like ENVISION, Manuela has contributed to communication strategies for major CERN events and conferences, facilitating the intersection of physics and medicine. Previous experience includes positions at the University of Michigan as a Research Physicist and roles at CERN and several Italian universities focusing on the ATLAS experiment. Manuela holds a PhD in Particle Physics from Scuola Normale Superiore and a Laurea in Particle Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
