Paola Catapano

Paola Catapano has extensive experience in science communication, currently serving as the Head of Content Production and Deputy Group Leader at CERN Communications since March 1990. In this role, Paola has led the audiovisual productions service since January 2016, focusing on science writing, video production, and outreach event production since January 2004. Additionally, Paola was the Group Leader of the Public Outreach Section and Head of the Visits Service, overseeing public outreach events and exhibitions. Previously, Paola worked as a host, producer, and author of science documentaries with RAI INTERNATIONAL and RAI 3 from January 2014 to January 2021, and authored and hosted for Dixit Scienza during a project with RAI per i 150 Anni. Paola holds a Master's in Science Journalism from SISSA - ISAS (1995-1997) and a Laurea in Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation from Università degli Studi di Trieste (1982-1987).
