Catalina Pérez Rojas

Catalina Pérez Rojas has extensive work experience in various roles related to finance and accounting. From 2017, they worked at Cero (YC S21) where they served as the Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Advisor. Catalina also worked as an Accounting Advisor at Fundacion Rompientes starting in 2019. In 2015, they joined UASVISION Ingeniería, initially as an Assistant Commercial, then as an Assistant in Administration and Finance, and eventually as the Head of the Administration and Finance Department. From 2012 to 2013, Catalina worked as an intern and HR Assistant at Centro social Nossa Senhora das Graças in Manaus, Brazil, where they were involved in various tasks such as HR support, innovation in employee administration systems, and collaborating with sponsors and donors. More recently, in 2023, they began working as an Accounting Advisor for Climate Tracker in Chile.

Catalina Pérez Rojas has a background in engineering, specifically in Information and Management Control Engineering, which they pursued at Universidad Andres Bello. Catalina also obtained a degree as a General Accountant from Escuela de Comercio de Santiago. In addition, they studied People Management at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Catalina also has knowledge in budget management, government accounting, and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (NICSP) in the Chilean public sector, which they gained from their education at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Furthermore, they completed a Diploma in Taxation and Tax Planning from DIAL Consultores. Catalina has also attained certification in TOEIC® (Test of English for International Communication) from Seminarium Certificación.
