John G. Booth

John G. Booth has over two decades of experience in the financial services and environmental sectors. John is currently an independent director at Cerro de Pasco Resources, a Canadian resource company. Prior to that, they were a partner and fund manager at Conservation Finance International, where they focused on sustainable timber, carbon, and renewable energy investments. At its peak, the company managed $3.2 billion in assets.

Booth has also worked as a financial services consultant for the World Bank Group and as a CEO and chairman for Midpoint (TSXV), a Canadian public company. John is also a co-founder of BuyFX.com, an online foreign exchange trading platform.

John G. Booth received their Master of Laws in International Law (Finance, Tax and Environmental) from King's College London. John then attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law to earn their Doctor of Law degree. Booth's undergraduate education was completed at the University of Windsor, where they earned their Bachelor of Laws degree. In addition, they have taken the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute and holds a BSc (Hons) in Freshwater Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Guelph. Booth also has an IB Diploma from Ashbury College.
