Amir Bahadori is a highly experienced Senior Research and Development Engineer specializing in asphalt at CertainTeed since August 2021. Previously served as an Associate Engineer at Pennoni and held multiple roles at Washington State University, including Research Assistant, Laboratory Supervisor, and Instructor for various civil engineering courses. Experience as a Transportation Engineer with the Washington State Department of Transportation involved the design and inspection of major transportation projects. Earlier roles include Project Engineer and Research Assistant at the Asphalt mixture and Bitumen Research Center in Iran, where significant projects included developing a pavement management system and evaluating asphalt mixtures. Amir holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Washington State University, a Master’s degree in Highway Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Highway Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
