Vrushali Bhagat

Vrushali Bhagat, PhD, is a seasoned professional in polymer science and product development, currently serving as a Product Development Chemist at CertainTeed since June 2022. Prior to this role, Vrushali held positions at Bridgestone Americas from May 2018 to June 2022, where significant contributions included polymer synthesis, the study of structure-property relationships in tire compounds, mechanical and rheological testing, and the development of innovative solutions for tire performance enhancements. Additionally, research efforts at The University of Akron from August 2012 to May 2018 culminated in a PhD focused on biomimetic, degradable adhesives. An MBA program at Indiana University, set to commence in February 2024, is currently being pursued to complement Vrushali's technical expertise with business acumen.
