Barbara Kesztyüs has extensive work experience in various healthcare organizations. Barbara started their career in 1981 as a freelance translator at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. From 1985 to 1988, they worked as a Groepsleidster at SNOV (Stg Noordelijke Orthopedagogische Voorzieningen). In 1991, they became an Emergency Physician at St.Elisabeth Hospital Curaçao before transitioning to an Internship in Gynaecology/Obstetrics from 1993 to 1994 at St. Elisabeth Hospital Curaçao. Following that, they worked as a Consultatiebureau arts at Consultatiebureau Curaçao from 1994 to 1997. Barbara also served as a General Physician at GGD Netherlands Antilles from 1994 to 1998. Lastly, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1998 to 2002, where they specialized in Medical Microbiology and obtained the degree of Specialist in Medical Microbiology, MD.
