When mortgages go into default, the mortgage servicers and note holders are often left with large pools of non-performing loans.   For these firms, the collection process is cumbersome and sufficiently time consuming that it can be a drain on profits.  We solve this problem, buying large pools of non-performing mortgages from these entities. We then sell these notes individually to other investors, realizing a substantial gain on each transaction.
