Rachel Klepner

Rachel Klepner is a Certification Specialist at Certified Humane since May 2022, with prior experience as a Wholesale Coordinator at Poughkeepsie Farm Project Ltd., focusing on sustainability and social justice from May 2021 to November 2021. Rachel managed farm production as the Director of Farming and Operations and Farm Manager at Upward Farms from November 2015 to March 2021, contributing to an innovative indoor aquaponic verticulture operation. Earlier, Rachel served as an Assistant Grower at Barretts Mill Farm from February 2015 to November 2015. Rachel holds a Certification in Ecological Horticulture and Sustainable Food Systems from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned in 2014, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Earlham College, completed in 2010.
