Carla Simmons

Carla Simmons is an experienced operations and credentialing professional, currently serving as Director of Operations at Certify since March 2022, after holding various positions including Associate Director of Credentialing and Senior Manager of Credentialing. Prior to that, Carla worked at Centene Corporation from October 2011 to July 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing the credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers and managing provider data management. Previous experience includes roles at Humana, where Carla was involved in training and workflow management, and positions at ChoicePoint Public Records Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Carla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care Therapy from Tennessee State University.
